Zabba possibly returning?

Personally think Zabba will play on for at least one more season as he’s been class for west ham this season and their fans love him as well
Funny that because I was stood at the bus stop outside the etihad after the West Ham game the other week and there was a group of West Ham fans behind me calling him a "stupid Argentinian c**t"

He needs to leave that lot behind and come back to a club that does love him.

6:17 in.Still brings a tear to the eye, and not just of that little lad!

Wow, that is the first time I have seen that and I am weeping like a leaky tap, Zabba nearly lost it at the end too, he is definitely coming back to city, i don’t think he ever truly left.

I have sat near to Blues at games who criticise Dave and Sterling.

I know some West Ham fans. Each one thinks the world of Zabaleta. You only have to see online what the West Ham fans think of him. It does appear he is, in general, well liked by Hammers.

Maybe @Met Line Hammer and @BlueHammer85 are best placed to tell us what Hammers fans think of him.

They got the funnies with him being nice to us.

personally I’d let him dry hump me!

My group, 12 of us think he’s a bit of a legend. Model pro. 100% giver. Likes it here. That’s all we ask.

Yes he’s getting slower etc but he really does give it all. WHU like players like that. I put him in the Julian dicks bracket in that regard. His passion is something that is sadly lacking these days. I’m fairly in the love camp as most of block 256 are

When there are top-class people already out of work, people who can bring something that bit different, something that bit special to the club- I'm talking about your Allardyces, your Moyeses, your Scholeses- it only makes sense to repatriate Pablo.

Where's the Blazing Squad when you need them?

The best bit about zabba, is that he’s loyal to all the teams he’s played for. Gives 100%, and tries to give something back, whether it’s to the fans or youth players.
For that, I hold him in high regard. It sets him apart from most.

Fucking hell, it's like a girls school reunion in here.

Legend is a word used too often, but not in this case. Almost impossible to believe that someone that good at football can be even better as a human being than he is as a footballer. A true City Man

Haha. Thanks, fella. I am confident he is popular. He plays like a fan would. Glad to see a lot of Hammers appreciate him.

I always thought this summed him up perfectly, from the game last season where Silva scored a late winner:

City legend, but he's devastated and distraught that City have won. Magnificent.

I think him returning has always been on the cards. City were keen to have him stay another season, as the club are almost desperate to keep hold of people like him, Kompany, Silva and Aguero - players who have been instrumental to the xlub we've become - staying, having a testimonial (it's so rare that you see testimonials nowadays), so that they can brag about how the project is working. Zaba is someone that understands the club, the project and the fans. He went to West Ham because he wanted to play regularly and knew he'd struggle in the system (you could see him finding the intensity hard in Pep's first season - Pep even tried to accommodate him in the midfield against Celtic at home, to see if his time at City could be prolonged). The guy loves the club, the club loves him, he'll be back.
