Zabba!

he is basically our version of ivanovic. versatile squad player who wont moan at not starting, yet is still a quality plyer

Every team needs a few players like Zab in the sqaud. Top man, top player and a great professional.

Zab is a consumate professional.

You'll never hear him whinge when he isn't playing, moaning to the press or any of that junk other 'professionals' at the club stoop to. Whenever he is called in he does his job. He isn't the best footballer in terms of natural ability, but he does have a very good footballing brain, and you can see he is consistenly looking to improve his game. I certainly have noticed that he has changed his game, especially in the last 6-12 months- he still occasionaly goes in for the rash challenge here and there, but he is far more selective than he was when he first came to City.

A model professional, and the sort of squad player you need. He will get plenty of games this season due to his versatility especially as a few injuries pop up here and there.

a good football brain, are you having a giraffe mate,he is a kicker full stop.the guys had loads of bad games but so many of you dont seem to want to give him stick compared to micah, when you cant wait to tear strips off the lad.if zab was playing rb today he would of got seriously ripped aswell make no mistake and there will be plenty more that do ,bale is a top player imo.i must also add that bobby identified that lennon might be a problem and barry helped kolarov and doubled up with him but we forgot to do the same with micah and bale until later in the 1st half.in saying all of that i do like zab it just bugs me that some on here are just hoping micah has a shit game and to those ***** i say fuck off - CMON YOU MIGHTY SKY BLUES - LETS FUCKING GO

I admit a big weakness in his game can be a tendency to lunge in too often and give away needless freekicks but his positional play is 10x better than Micahs.

i like zabs but positional wise I didn't think he was all that clever on saturday (hardly a surprise perhaps), too often he was too far away from lennon, especially, given the difference in pace between the two of them, he did always seem aware of where lennon was thou so i might be doing him a mis-service but i always feared a cross field pass would catch him out - fortunately none came and spurs always worked the ball over there giving him time to get into a better position

Apologies if someone has already mentioned it but it seems that nobody has (or nobody has the same opinion!!)...but I think he's also improved drastically since Mancini has come in. He doesn't dive in so much and his positional play is better. He also will get forward and deliver a cross much more than Richards will do. His performance vs Villa at the end of last season was one of the stand out performances of the season for me.

Zabeleta is awesome. Current value would be around £11million i'd say. Not bad since we got him for peanut's.

I just love this guys commitment and enthusiasm for the game.

Everyone goes on about his lack of pace, but he has the heart of a lion and most of all he loves playing for our club!!

Wouldn't it be great to transplant his heart into Robbi, then we would have a World Class Player!!

Great attitude has our Zab..

Reminds me very much of Gerard Weikens, plays for the shirt, amazing football brain, enthusiasm and passion but lacks pace. If he had pace you wouldn't be able to leave him out of the side, he offers so much to the squad and I hope he stays at the club for many years to come.

Oh dear
