Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The Milan clause is around €20m, he wouldn't be that expensive. He would next season add more to the team than Dzeko for certain, even though Dzeko is a better investment in the long run.

yes but do milan have an agreement already ? of course its up to zlatan but he might be settled there.

Milan and Barca agreed on a fee which Milan, if they want, will pay at the end of this season. That fee is around €20-€23m. If not, he's to return to Barca but Barca don't seem to want him back. Meaning if any other club want him, they should be able to get him for that fee (or less).

The Milan fans and board absolutely love Ibra, and Milan legends call him the "new" Van Basten to Milan. Ibra seem to love it there too. What speaks against Ibra is that Berlusconi seem to be ready to pump in a lot of money to the club this summer, meaning they might sign some younger and promising strikers. Balotelli, Aguero. Barbara Berlusconi, Silvio's daughter and member of the board, said last week they aim to buy young players.

Ibra's insanely high salary is also an obsticle. If he leaves they'd still have a great striking line-up:
Cassano, Robinho, Pato, and €20m to buy Aguero/Balotelli.

So, Ibrahimovic is an insanely much loved character at Milan, but his high salary+fee may stop him. I can also see Ibra wanting to finally prove England wrong, that he in fact is a world class striker (which he also is). Note though that Ibra hasn't said anything remotely close to pointing him to a move to England, through his whole career. All we got is the quotes of Mancini loving Ibra, and to be fair that wasn't enough last year when he chose Milan over us.

perhaps we should be aiming for younger player too

Ibrahimovic has won 8 consecutive league titles , winning the league in his first season for every club he's signed for !... I still don't think he's what we need

We already have great talents, Milan have a HUGE lump of old players that they need to get rid off. That's what she meant with the statement. Abbiati (35), Nesta (35), Jankulovski (34), Gattuso (34), Seedorf (35), Inzaghi (38).

Ibrahimovic is young compared to these. I brought that quote up because it mean that if they buy players this summer (and Ibra is a buy of this summer), they'll focus on young players. We're not in the same urge, in fact, we'd be good with some mature CL experienced players. Vieira and Given might quit, and then we have few players over 30.

anyone know how old he is and what is goals to games ratio has been for Milan this season?

Played 25
Scored 14
Assists 11

Supposedly 20mill would be enough to tempt Barca. I'd have him, tho I'd rather have Eto'o

They are completely different footballers. Ibra fits our formation because he can hold up the ball well, we lack a good playmaking central midfielder that can give Eto'o good through balls (if Silva isn't moved more centrally). Also, Eto'o is reliant on his pace and he'll lose parts of that each year.

Plus, people call Balotelli dressing room cancer. I'd be interested to see what they will call Eto'o then. Look at what he did to Barcelona.

Ibrahimovic has dead-on attitude towards his own team, it's the opposition teams who hate him. He's immensely popular amongst his team mates and fans. Ibra at Ajax and Juventus was a bit different, but he got a lot of hating from the Italian press back then. It's different now when people in Inter respect him for all his trophies. Hell, even Cassano love him (even though Ibra kicked him in the head this weekend):
