It is not the same person mate.

I know its not that apparently mega reliable guy bud, but its certainly one of the guys people were pinning hopes on further back in the thread
I literally don't think anyone is sure on the state of this one and I ain't convinced we will hear anything until we tie up the fullbacks anyway

So the guy who was avidly reporting that Sanchez is coming to city, based on Chilean sources, now states on twitter that 'Bayern now have hope'

Wanted this signing more than anything else this summer but I really can't see a world where Arsenal allow it to happen, a year left on his deal or not.

The only scenario I see is Sanchez telling the board/Wenger that he is more than happy to see out next season but after that he's leaving on a free, it would also require us to give him all sorts of promises in case Arsenal call his bluff. However in that scenario I think Arsenal would cave and sell him to us this summer.

Sanchez holds the cards because I'm not sure I could see him carrying out the above scenario with Bayern waiting in the wings. If he wants City more he's going to have to get his agent to force it.

The only thing is, it's either this summer or never for us when it comes to Sanchez
We will only take him this year, as we will probably end up turning to plan 'b' if he stays at Arsenal
Plus Arsenal may run the risk of him having the year, them winning the league, and him then fancying it again signing another contract with them

Again, I just don't see how the backlash of their fanbase can even be risked for the sake of losing out on a fee for a player next year, not with the position Wenger is already in

Why are you bothered about the source if it's not the one we know to be reliable? ignore the rest

How do we know the other one is reliable though
Have you ever heard of him, or the other guy, or some other Chilean bloke who may pop up

Its a transfer forum, and you're usually the first to post any source or tweet in and fair enough
Seems strange to not be bothered about it when he was being quoted in here 50 pages back and people were getting giddy

To be fair as much as I'd like Sanchez..he's hardly a priority
I think he is a priority though. We can't compete with the big boys without him. We need the depth. Kelechi, Nolito and Navas all leaving or gone... and they made over 90 appearances between them last season. We need to replace them with 2 top class options, to have quality rotation. One was Bernardo, the other needs to be Sanchez. Or someone equally as prolific and equally versatile... can't be a long list.
