Because we need a striker more than a cb, in my opinion, and simply cant shell out mega-money on both.
Despite the media constantly spouting otherwise, even we have a budget Pep has to work with & cant go beyond

We need a home grown player. Callum Chambers is another option but unlikely at this late stage in window. I prefer Evans out of the 3 because of his experience.
