Sky sports news have the yellow ticker tape with the following headline..
"Athletic Bilbao say aymeric laporte has paid buyout clause in his contract.."
If you read that you'd say the player has bought himself out wouldn't you?
Just think the wording of that statement is a bit strange.

Pretty sure that is technically the process in Spain - the player has to buy out their own clause.

Not impatience. Looks unprofessional to me that Bilbao have already announced it.
You either tell them to wait until we are ready or announce it straight after them, not a day after. He is calling us “the club” on social media. Just looks funny to me.
