Todays Pitch Invasion. City v Swansea

Good God we even moan about pitch invasions. Hope we win it against Utd and everyone swarms the pitch to celebrate, totally ignoring Utd's players, staff and fans.
Some won't ignore them, there'll be a few, half-cut or otherwise, trying to slap their players and spoil a great day with their daftness.

Curious as to why it bothers people. If you can't celebrate a bit what's the fkn point.

Hell some/most of the people on here wont allow anyone to sing 'We're gonna win the League' until July 24th so the pitch invasion will be sometime after that, possibly the 31st but it still has to be confirmed.

Agreed, leave the players to celebrate. 2012 was fine but shouldn't have happened in 2014.

If there is one ( I am in the rolls eyes category, because I want to celebrate with the team not a load of pissed/coked up random fans) it should be last home game so all our achievements can be recognised. If it’s against the scum it will cause more bother than it worth and give those Raggy scummy twats more importance than they deserve. I know many will disagree, game of opinions and all that.

The players don't want it, Guardiola wouldn't understand it, the owners would disapprove of it, but self-indulgent clowns will think they're entitled to it. So the least embarrassing outcome would be that it delays the trophy presentation and no one gets hurt.

With the PL fixtures on q/f day being postponed... unfortunately I think the derby will come a little too soon. Might win it the week after at Wembley though

This.

Never sure why people have the mentality that it is their right to break the rules because (some poxxy made up justification) ....and fuck everyone else!?!

What would be FAR better is these same “real” fans getting the post-match singing flowing and letting the players and staff know how valued and appreciated they are!

It’s like watching that clip of scooter thieves picking out their victims for daring to have their phones out in public, or a handbagon their arm, and saying “Look, she’s just asking to have it nicked!”

NO, SHE’S NOT, it is just your irrational justification to make you feel better for breaking society’s rules!!

2012 was unique in many respects, and the outpouring of emotions in those final minutes was palpable. To even attempt to use that cathartic release as justification is pathetic and small time.

Would prefer not to have a pitch invasion this time but your comparison is a bit over the top.
