Good and bad but coming from someone who didnt have it growing up i think we were happier, more active and social kids without it

I’d never have conveniently bought much of what I own without the internet.

Facebook is the only social media app I actively use but it’s more for Messenger so we can all keep in touch. It’s replaced texts.

I am delighted that the mainstream news media that completely manipulated public opinion in Machiavellian pacts with politicians, for decades, is now dwindling in influence because of the internet. I am concerned that so many find it impossible to be uncontactable - the pressure to be constantly online is intense, especially for young people.

Dont do any social media platforms, everyone on the internet is a liar until proven otherwise and living in the sticks it's great for ordering stuff, BM's OK I suppose.
