Living in Bury?

Those new builds on the rock are really nice inside.
I like the shops on the rock too.
Regarding the nightlife things haven't been the same since sol viva (Roxies) shut down a few years back.
Few good bars though.

Live just down the road in ramsbottom but work in bury. It's alright.
Much nicer than the surrounding towns like bolton and Rochdale :p
 
Hated Poxy Roxy, i was a Sams man every weekend and then when they closed that we went Chicago Rock, Their are some nice bars and pubs now but it lacks a night club.

Sol was called the roxy and before that it was the arena roller skating and before that it was a cinema, sams used to be called Rebecca's and we also had Atmosphere which was above the old fish market
 
I'm sure the guys who run a few bars in Bury had plans to open up a new club, in the building behind the guitar shop.
I used to go to Drama there when I was a kid.
