Bony and Zabaleta are quality players and certainly capable of more than they have shown in recent months. Guess what one arrived and got injured, then had malaria in the summer and got injured again, and Zabaleta has also been dogged by injury. Sterling has already shown his quality. Not sure I have. I'm not convinced we will see this "talent" again (e.g. Zab/Nasri/Yaya), and some of them wouldn't get in even at their best (Willy/Bony). Final question, do you think Sterling would be guaranteed starter for them?
A handful of players have played regularly over the last 12 months and that needs looking at. Nearly all the injuries our players have picked up are muscle strains. I get the feeling that we've just been unlucky because I notice that teams who are playing a lot of football like Arsenal and Liverpool have also lost a lot of players, but the difference is that our losses have been our very best players. Arsenal would nowhere without Sanchez for example.
