I am taking my dad to this who has not been to Wembley since the cup final replay in 81 which was the principal factor in his divorce from my mum.

5 mins walk to Euston Square tube for tube to Wembley Park.

I work down south but live up north.
Finish work Friday lunch head back, north to pick my daughter up.
Return on the Saturday to my digs near Milton Keynes
Stay over, head to wembers on the Sunday
Head home straight after the game to ensure my daughter can get to school
Up for 5 on the Monday for the 3 hr journey south

arrive euston at 7am wander down to trafalgar sq to lord of the moon (wetherspoons) opens at 8am break then beer and tube from westminster to wembley . Full of blues last time

Get first train out of Edinburgh on Sunday morning.

Tube to Marylebone and train to Wembley Central. Check into Ibis hotel next to the stadium before the match.

Go for meal in the local Italian restaurant then back to hotel for celebration.

Train back to Edinburgh on Monday morning.

Exactly the same pattern as for the Sunderland and Liverpool finals.

Also (unfortunately) the same as for the defeats to Arsenal in the Community Shield and the FA Cup semifinal.

Lunch in Chinese restaurant in Gerrard Street
Off to game
Few beers
Back home Sunday night hopefully with Pep’s first bit of silverware

I'm going for a Norwegian ham its fantastic, oven roasted tomatoes and lettuce with hole grain mustard on ciabatta a few pork pies and a litre of barcandi for Toby you know what she's like :-) and a few other bits.
