She is 70% nuts, 30% affection which is a pretty good ratio! 21 is a hell of an age for a cat - thats well over a 100 in human age equivalent! Unfortunately our last one got a kidney infection and was only 10 when she died. Its pathetic but you do get so attached to them.Bless her she sounds lovely, having had a nutty cat it will be fun i can tell you that,i taught mine tricks and she never sat still in life, made it to 21 bless her,my new cat is so laid back, all she wants to do is cuddle all the time, lazy doesn't cover it,i love her but a nutter is more fun
I adored my cat,she had a brain tumour and went blind when she turned 20,it's been 4yrs already and i still miss her a lot,she had a great life, used up her 9 lives pretty early lol.I waited over a year before thinking about adopting again,i went to the local sanctuary just for a look and found myself coming home with 1 yr old silva, going from a very old cat to a youngster was interesting,i forgot how lively they are at that age!She is 70% nuts, 30% affection which is a pretty good ratio! 21 is a hell of an age for a cat - thats well over a 100 in human age equivalent! Silva is a class name for a cat. For better or worse, we wanted a kitten so we got Ruby from Gumtree. You wouldn't believe just how fast they go and for how much - some of it is just silly! She is still too young to go out and Saturday was the first time she had been left as we were overnight at the game. She obviously missed us as she was especially 'radged' on Sunday. (Radge = colloquial Scottish term for violent and unpredictable behaviour, as in Begbie in Trainspotting)I adored my cat,she had a brain tumour and went blind when she turned 20,it's been 4yrs already and i still miss her a lot,she had a great life, used up her 9 lives pretty early lol.I waited over a year before thinking about adopting again,i went to the local sanctuary just for a look and found myself coming home with 1 yr old silva, going from a very old cat to a youngster was interesting,i forgot how lively they are at that age!
It was difficult to come up with a girls name from the team,i was going to go for blue but it didn't suit her lolSilva is a class name for a cat. Mates cat had a blind kitten once that kept running full speed head first into the skirting boards, cracked me up that kitten. We got our third cat (Ruby) 3 weeks ago so that makes her 11 weeks old. Her nickname is Radge for obvious reasons. At the moment she is bouncing (literally) round our conservatory with her back arched and her fur standing on end because she can see her reflection in the glass. She is completely mental and has already suffered 2 soft tissue injuries and a impact injury that made her nose look like that of a tapir. She does a wonderful impression of a bush baby. She is costing me a frigging fortune at the vets.
We will grow to love her just as much as we did our last two cats and two labs. We tried two years without a pet and really couldn't hold out.
You like kittens as well as cats then?Mates cat had a blind kitten once that kept running full speed head first into the skirting boards, cracked me up that kitten.
I liked that one, it had the right idea. You like kittens as well as cats then?
