I don't rate Benteke I think he is a one season wonder, If he is at Villa next season and plays the way he has done last season then take a look at him, Too many players making a name out of been good for one season nowadays.

I dont think Carroll is that bad, he a top player for someone like West Ham and will score goals for them - maybe upto 15 a season. But £35m was crazy. If West Ham paid £15m they have paid top end for him but given his age thats not too over the top.

But he was overrated because of one good season and Benteke COULD be the same.

Does anyone think Michu will score as many next season as this?

I agree that he could turn out to be a one season wonder. But to me when I watch him, there are things in the way he plays that tell me that he has more to him than a one season wonder.

I rate Benteke, but not for us. Pellegrini's said he wants to play attractive football and Benteke suits winning balls in the air, holding play up until he gets support, etc. That wouldn't happen at City as the play would develop around him and I feel he'd slow the build up down, as I think Dzeko does now.
