A Belgiun journalist said that despite scoring some goals, Benteke has looked out of his depth at International level. I watched the two games at the end of the season and though he scored, he really didn't look at all good. I doubt Vinnie would be that impressed with him, especially considering he worked on a daily basis with the likes of Tevez and Aguero.

So what. Why shouldn't he want to play for a bigger club? To play in CL. To actualy win a game. Why would that worry us? We are one of the bigger clubs he would want to end up with. Let's get him now on the cheap instead of 2-3 years from now when he'll cost 40m.

He should want to play for the best team possible but to go on strike and to disrespect the club and the fans like he does is pathetic. Even Suarez made sure he added he loves Liverpool and the fans before telling them he want's to leave. If he signed for us he and turned out to be one of the worlds best in a few years imo it wouldn't be long before he asks to leave to go to Real Madrid, Bayern, Barca etc and would no doubt refuse to play until he gets his own way.

And I don't think he will be a £40 million player in 2-3 years either.

If Hulk can go for 40m and Carrol can go for 35m than anyone can. The market is starved for high end strikers. Just look at Cavani going for 53m and 50m for Falcao. It's only going to increase in the future.
