I'm not arsed until somebody starts having ago, for example I don't care about England until people get Anti-English, I'm not bothered about being British until for example an American starts taking the piss.

Whether we're born in England, Africa or on Neptune we're all the same. Products of something much much grander than invisible conceptual borders which divide one tax farm/field from another.

Since we don't have a name for the universe, as such (Universeling?), I am nothing but myself and I am quite happy with that.

Come off it the countless times I've seen Scotland being given credit as their own nation yet similar English people get described as British

This is how I see it.

And I think there is a British identity which is based on the things that the home nations have in common, but your identity of being English/Welsh/Scottish/Northern Irish is more important because in a way it's more personal, if that makes sense.

I hate being called British or worse European.I am English and quite proud of my scando/german/french heritage thank you very much...

Nothing wrong with wanting to be English although it does seem like i'm being a bit naughty saying it in the modern climate.
