Im more disappointed with Delph being suspended than I am about going out tonight, he'll be a big miss and Arsenal will see that and will work all week on exploiting that side now.
not what I'd play but what I think Pep will play.
Bravo
Walker
Kompany
Otamendi
Danilo
KDB
Fernandinho
Silva
Sane
Sterling
Aguero
Danilo's pace and more natural understanding of the position defensively over zinchenko.
Otamendi on the left to help him out and Kompany to marshall the back 4.
Keepers not worth mentioning, we all know Ederson is superior in every way but Pep will have made promises he won't go back on even if it means potential defeat.
Midfield picks itself when fit, gundogan doesn't offer enough to even make it a legitimate debate.
Out wide Sane and Sterling are no brainers. Bernardo is too easily shackled on the right just by showing him down the line and doesn't have the pace to beat a man, that position is primarily about positioning and off the ball moving and Bernardo is a player who wants the ball to feet. You can see he's a talented footballer but his skillset is incomplete contrast to what pep wants his wide players to do.
And upfront Sergio is the best and only option, hopefully jesus is fit enough to give us something from the bench should we need itas we do look light.
Tonight's result might work in our favour as Pep will not tolerate another loss and will make sure we come out all guns blazing on Sunday.
