Maybe but all the other occasions were met with a stern no, at least this time the bone has been thrown.
Hence the new contract, only once he re-signed was Napoli willing to part imo.

Can you see Mario going other way?

I'm not sure that Napoli could meet his needs but i could be wrong?

Maybe not the football club but The Camorra ..

I would not get excited, at best it'd be a summer deal and even then remember who we are dealing with and remember the Sanchez debacle with the Pozzo family (Udinese) that resulted in about 20 mega-threads on Bluemoon. De Laurentiis likely to be even worse than the Pozzos.

Balotelli is a failed project, Mancini probably will never admit defeat with him but whatever people think we need someone in who will put in 100% for 90 minutes on the pitch without sulking or indeed getting sent off. Cavani will cost a bomb, but we can afford it even with FFP.

Surely it's worth taking the risk in this window, if we can't retain the title this time around then we've really missed out on an opportunity to really damage United. We need to regain the initiative, Cavani would give us that. He's absolutely quality - anyone who watched him against us last year could attest that, furthermore 5 minutes of research by watching youtube videos of him in action will show you that he's a more diverse player than Dzeko. Certainly more reliable than Mario.

It almost seems too good to be true though, that Napoli would take Balotelli off our hands AND sell us Cavani. If it were to go through however... 2 birds with one stone.

Dzeko has had enough apparently. He's scoring and gets benched and has asked his representatives to alert clubs of his availability. Inter are early favourites and discussions have happened. Mancini isn't a big fan of his and the move could make sense money wise. We still owe inter money for balotelli and with sneijder on his way out, they will have the funds available. If dzeko goes then someone will come in, if no one goes, then no one will come in. Mancini isn't going to go and sign a 30-40million pound striker because aguero is out for 2 months. Forget about falcao+cavani at least until the summer. Guidetti could get a look in once he's fit. And just to add, mancini will not sell balotelli. He's put up with him for too long to just sell him now. He sees him as a son and he is desperate to mould him into a class act.

Says who?

Statements like these really benefit from having the source included.
