its not needless at all. we played 3 days ago. vincent wasnt going to play two games so quick, willy hasn't been great.

Yeah and pretty much every other team sticks with their goalkeeper and first choice defence no matter how many games have been played. Rotating goalkeepers and rotating the defence every other game is just idiotic and causes nothing but confusion for our players. We'll still probably have enough to win this game with our attacking players but Pep really needs to chill the fuck out with chopping and changing the defence. He's like a bloody under 10's manager where if you payed your subs promises everyone will get a game.

Don't see too many queues as of yet. Then again, it's only 2:15. Is it the late arrivals that cause the issues.

Zabaleta is our best right back atm, why Pep rarely use him is beyond me.

Hull not a great team but they are a bit pacy for Zab.

To be fair, De Bruyne and Fernandinho have been out of sorts for a while. A rest might do them some good.

And you suspect that, had they been picked, some of those criticising Pep for undue rotation would have been on his case for playing favourites and not picking the team on merit.

we dont really have a first choice gk though. both will probably be gone and both are in and out of form. like you say todays team is surely good enough to win. i think he just doesnt trust our defenders.

it could be a hard game though, as hull are in very good form
