Nope can't argue much with them, Lescott maybe harsh a 5 so up to 6, Barry's shit pass led to their break but perhaps hard to downgrade him to 5?. The forwards didn't much sparkle so agree with all there. Pretty fair assessment for me that Balk.

Really? seemed to lose a lot of posession and spurned some good opportunities with pisspoor shots. Not knocking him personally, all of the team looked a bit below par tonight, so probably hard to pick a mom.

I think, of the few times he did concede possession, it was with his bad shooting. That's not much of a problem for me.

People might look at the times we were caught out on the counter and say we needed De Jong tonight, but that's completely the wrong way to go about it. Had De Jong played, it would have been 0-0.

Barry and Yaya covered plenty of ground, were largely excellent with the ball, and were up for the challenges. Make no mistake, the Napoli midfield were no amateurs, all very good players, especially Inler. And to dominate them with little help from Silva or Nasri is an achievement. Tonight was a good performance, just an unfortunate result. All that was wrong tactically was the full-backs.
