The cynic in me thinks the powers that be already have their design that fits in with the City Group and will be a round badge akin to the last round one we had... just a more modern version.
 
We all agree this would look ace?!!!

The bit in bold is a bit of an area of concern for me. The badge should be designed by a specialist in my view, not just someone from the in house team. The in-house team's previous effort wasn't the best.

we dont know if City's in-house design team did the Melboune one, they could have out-sourced that or got Esquero involved asfter its based on his NYCFC design. For all we know, Melbourne fans like their badge??

i'm sure who ever does it, does what the owners are happy with maybe the fans are happy with.

lets just worry about our own if/when we need to.
