Yes we got a philips use it more than oven and the microwave, great for chips scampi calamari ect

Every time I see fat fryer it always reminds me of one the the first episodes of Spooks when Helen's hand then head got pushed into the deep fat fryer. Anyone else remeber that?

I'm sure there was a thread on here ages back about the expensive air fryers. It put me off buying one iirc because everyone thought they were wank and did crap chips.

Crap chips yes, but great sausage, bacon etc. Also good for heating up pies.

They take an age to do (45mins) but once you get the right spuds and right size, they taste alright. Better than oven chips but not as good as chippy chips or deep fried. They do good Aunt Bessie Yorkshire Puds from the freezer.
