Why would his career be done?

He'll be out the best part of a year if shaw is anything to go by.

Demba Ba is more than a decade older than Luke Shaw. He'll be a 32/33 year old striker playing in China coming off a gruesome broken leg. I don't know a damn thing about Demba Ba's finances, family situation, or desired level to continue to play. So maybe he will come back, hope he does, just saying he would need to put in TONS of physical therapy and rehab work to return to being match fit and ready to compete again.
