I wholeheartedly agree. You could irrevocably damage any friendship or rapport you have with a neighbour by asking them why they've starved their dog. It could be a simple case of the dog having been poorly or, said neighbour is a mental case and has overlooked their responsibilities. Who needs the embarrassment?This.

It's good for Dogs to eat grass.
apparently they do it when they have an upset stomach and or they need water.
if it looks like it's in desperate need of care yes phone RSCPA, but just eating grass - my dog Otis, he does it often whilst out running.

All ours eat grass no matter what we do to stop them. I dont suppose it bothers them but it pisses me right off as I'm the poor shmuck who has to do the open arse surgery bit and gently ease the grass enclosed turd out when the shivering git cant pass it. Passing joggers love me....
