I presume they have to be under 19 on the 1st of January. Davenport is only 17 and I'm pretty sure I'm safe in saying that England try to pick only players who are just under the maximum age so it would only be 18/19 year olds for the U19's (presuming they turned 19 since the 1st of Jan).

Edit: that would apply to Patching too.

Tbh, I hoped for Adarabioyo, Humphreys, etc to not to be called up for this coz they'll gain much more from a pre-season with Pep. And not only learn things but of course play for the 1st team and hopefully gain a place in it.

If they were with England they could have another NT fuck-up (we don't know ft it will be the case but it's a possible scenario) and miss such a tempting opportunity at City at the same time.
