English managers

They’re not. It’s just we have the best league in the world and most managers want to come and manage here.

That means we get some of the best talent across the world in the league and well, England is a small place compared to the rest of the world so naturally they’re below average for the league.

Rogers isn’t English but he is British and he’s probably the third best in the division.
He's come out of the English game but I doubt he'd describe himself as British.

It's the same if you look at the players, teams with more English players are usually further down the table.

Because Pep, Klopp and Ancelotti weren't born in England.
Don't matter where you're from.
The best managers have the best jobs.
Very few English managers at foreign clubs either

You don't see many English players or managers go abroad, it's the same in the German and Turkish leagues, they're valued more in their own leagues and the rewards are greater. English youngsters have started doing it more now but only imo because they've got a glut of young players atm and so much quality in the league that for the first time in decades it pays to go abroad. Now if you're a Portuguese player or manager...

It's not English managers per se, it's the type of English manager. Potter's not doing too badly, for instance. Dyche is hanging in there. It's dinosaurs like Bruce and Allardyce who are the problem.
