Read on barcaforum that he's the next defensive 'big thing' from La Masia, following Pique and Bartra. Barcelona are simply disintegrating now, their board seem to be Florentino's agents. Ridiculously clueless.

When Puyol is telling his clients they have a better chance here than at Barcelona...things must be awful over there. You're not exactly swimming in CB options either, are you? Mascherano on the way down, Pique will be mid-thirties by the time this kid is ready. Betting everything on Marlon.

Very strange what's happening there.

Nope, he committed to the club as did Alena.
Someone has to partner Umtiti though...
For now it will be Pique with Santos a very promising defender - eyes will remain on Davinson Sanchez at Ajax who has been scouted for some time as the heir to Pique or Yerry Mina
