The draw for next round (Quarter Finals) is tonight, no set weekends from now on (League games will have to be rescheduled for those who get through) and no replays from this stage on as well from this year, but just that one game away from another trip to Wembley (semis).

Chelsea and Leicester are through last night, four more ties today BEFORE the draw so 6 out of 8 would have been decided by the time draw takes place. Only Spurs/Rochdale and us/Wigan would be finding out who’s next before our game has even kicked off ...

Here’s official details:

EMIRATES FA CUP QUARTER FINAL DRAW LIVE ON SATURDAY 17 FEBRUARY

The Emirates FA Cup quarter final draw will take place from 8pm on Saturday 17 February.

The last-eight line-up will be laid out on BT Sport’s ‘FA Cup Tonight’ programme, following their live coverage of the fifth round tie between Huddersfield Town and Manchester United.

The draw can also be accessed on the BBC Sport website and BBC Sport app, and it will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 5Live.

The draw will be conducted by Michael Owen, who won The FA Cup with Liverpool in 2001, and former Newcastle United and Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given.

The quarter final ties will take place over the weekend of 16-19 March and each winning club will receive £360,000 from The FA prize fund.

Draw numbers:

1 SHEFFIELD WED OR SWANSEA CITY
2 WEST BROM OR SOUTHAMPTON
3 CHELSEA
4 LEICESTER CITY
5 HUDDERSFIELD OR MAN UNITED
6 ROCHDALE OR TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
7 BRIGHTON OR COVENTRY CITY
8 WIGAN OR MANCHESTER CITY

This turd will do his best to pull us out for an away tie, and then smirk all over the his DipperRag face. Come on, Shay, do us proud! But I have a trip to London nailed on for
the next round!

Fairly strong lineup for QFs ... Chelsea already through ... Arsenal and Liverpool already out ... now only if Spurs and that lot also lose today then it’s a very very winnable trophy all the way ...

Here’s what I think the QF lineup will be (after all ties are played):

1 SWANSEA CITY
2 WEST BROM
3 CHELSEA
4 LEICESTER CITY
5 MAN UNITED
6 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
7 BRIGHTON
8 MANCHESTER CITY

Swansea at home if we beat Wigan.

With the rags at spurs.

Shambles having the draw with half the games to play.

2 out of 8 isn’t half the games ... happens all the time, all the cups, all across Europe too ... the fans of those other 6 teams get their ticket details and sort their travel etc. a few days earlier than waiting for Tuesday morning till after our game ... plus all ties on TV here on in.
