I am not sure that it in "in their blood" just that the kids of footballers have a "way in" to the academies that other kids do not, even if the kids are border line I do not think that they would be dropped from the academy as long as their dad is playing for the club. It would take some balls for a coach to drop, for example, Aguero's kid from the academy it just wouldn't happen, but to drop Mr and Mrs Smiths kid it is very easy, I know, I have been there :-(
