after taking the piss out of the fm crowd for sometime I was watching my lads playing it the other day. After a few throw away comment about how they were rubbish they challenged me to a go.
After half a season with stockport i was absolutely shite think id won a grand total of 2 games.
I need to know how to beat them but dont have hours to waste trying to find out myself. I therefore looking to cheat, thus teaching my children an important life lesson. How do I do it?

"Accidentally" delete the game when you were cleaning the HDD (it's usually in My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/games/) and start again.

But edit the players of the team you're going to be to be a hell of a lot better than they are - ie. Set Stockport's strikers' finishing to 16, 17, 18, 19...
