Now i shouldn't struggle for advise on Hamburg on here as I'm sure plenty of you have been over there to watch City.

But as I haven't been, and will be going in 2 weeks with a big group of mates, I was wondering if anyone could give me a few tips on the place?

Museums, cathedrals etc are all welcome but if your struggling then a list of pubs and bars would be tremendous.

I've stayed here a few times, opposite St. Pauli's ground, handy for the reeperbahn but far enough to be quiet, decent steakhouse close by too.
Free wifi and the breakfast is ok.

go to the pier you can tour a ww2 sub. it was great
