One ripped me off In Spain last week, I requested 300 euros but refused the 296 gbp charge and pressed no and got my card back. The machine only charged me anyway and I'm now having to wait 7 to 10 days to see if I get my £296 back.

The charge was £296 to take out 300 euros?

Yes it was one of those side of the road ones. As all the lingo was in Spanish It gave me an option accept or press no. I pressed no and retrieved my card. It was only when I got home and checked my balance that I realised the ATM had still charged me. Reported it to lloyds as said and hopefully I get my money back but I don't have any expectations.
