The best thing about the Smiths is that they split up at their peak.

Always loved The Smiths' music, but then Morrissey starts ''singing'' and kills it for me.

But you don't want a band to carry on 20 to 40 years past their best either way. What does it matter if a guitar player dies etc when you can make money?
