How long until video appeals are introduced?

VARS will have teething problems and wont get everything right but i reckon it will be 80% better than we have now,now does not work anymore

Yes because it is, there used to be rules about steps, and/or time, but they seem to have disappeared.

Anyway this is not a "time wasting thread" its about VAR, and the only solution to make it work is instant replay to another official, whilst in play, the bollocks in that video of waving play on, the other team breaking away to score (ie until the ball was no longer in play), then the official (who was in this case wrong anyway) then going to the side to examine the video for a minute or so, so he can cover his arse, is just the wrong way to go about it. Feynoord probably wouldn't have scored had it been an instant decision.

The 6 second rule is still in force but everyone just seems to ignore it, no idea why, but they all do. It’s like encroachment and keepers coming off their line on penalties.

Last time I remember it was Mignolet in the Europa League 2 or 3 years ago. Mind you, he did have hold of it for about 20 seconds!

Strikes me that re-writing the rules of the game so that they make sense and are black and white would be a lot better than this VAR idea.
