Deer hunting's not my bag at all but I know some people who do it.
I read that Deers running onto roads is attributable to 500 serious road accidents a year and it would be much more if there numbers weren't controlled.
So it would appear there's a place for it, the people who do it are properly licenced and take pride in a humane kill and pay a lot of money to do it.
The alternative is to drag them into captivity and frighten them witless as they smell blood while in the queue for the bolt.
