If Dani Alves joined City, would he be starting over Kyle Walker?

One wouldn't be starting over the other. It would depend on who we are playing and how Pep wants the team to attack. The 2 are completely different types of fullbacks. Alves would be used much like Zinchenko has been. They are both used as more of an extra midfielder and are used to keep hold of the ball, link up with the dual 8's and wingers. Walker was brought in as a more defensive fullback. You can say his defending isn't great, but his pace and getting up and down is key in breaking up counter attacks. If we were to attack down the right if we had Alves then the left fullback would sit more and vice versa. We don't have a good defensive leftback, so maybe it worked out.
