Is there a city store in the town centre now

It was a struggle to actually find a shop in the city centre that sold the city shirt. Sports direct and one or two others had the new shirts.

You’re no more than fifteen minutes from the City shop by tram. The place in town may not have been profitable.

Only reason the one in town closed is because they wouldn't renew their lease for the unit they had. Left the staff there unemployed.

It’s still out of your way. I’d rather stay in the centre to go shopping (not just for city things) like most people. Surely we should have a store in the city centre.

It did. Some of them got relocated to Kitbag and did some work for them at different events (NFL, Ryder Cup etc.) selling merchandise for a while and others got let go.

City are a business. Retail businesses are deserting the High St. Nail shops, beauty salons, hairdressers, Pound Shops, takeaways and cafes, banks, chemists. Not much else survives.
