It's Quiet - a new dawn

If the Chinese are willing to pay Kun 600k plus per week then that would surely be more than tempting......and then Mbappe arrives....?
Suppose so but I would rather we sign a more experienced striker like griezmann to be with Jesus rather than having 2 youngsters lead the line.

I dont understand all the jokes about my country. Who you think is better than Neymar? Or answer this question: if you can choose one player to bring in, any player you can just not Messi or Ronaldo, who would you choose?

I love your country, but thought it was spelt Isreal, now that I typed it it's obviously not, perhaps just looks strange in uppercase ;)

Tough question, my choice would be Manuel Neuer, closely followed by David Alaba and Mbappe

He plays the game as if he's a seasoned pro. Maybe I'm wearing by gold plated hype shades but if he's this good at 18 then I can only imagine what he could become...

I'm going to throw my hat in here and choose Hazard. ( there's a few CM's that could sway me though )

He can go there and do a Tevez play a couple of games and go home because they pay the player 2 years in advance.

Although they pay in advance I would guess the payment is contingent on you fulfilling your contract. The Chinese might be loaded but they are far from stupid.

Kicker today writes that Jerome Boateng is considering leaving Bayern this summer. He has apparently doubts about how much playing time he will get in the future. Given that he last year signed a new long term contract until 2021 this does not seem to me like a ploy to get a new contract, rather like he is seriously considering. Would you have him back?

At the same time, it's unlikely City will be as forthcoming on ridiculously lucrative contracts as when they first came in.

Continuing to keep deadwood as stop-gap squad fillers isn't wise in the long run either. This planning/development should have happened long ago, and I have no doubt there are questions in Abu Dhabi why it didn't, but now we are in the situation we have to go for broke.

If we only have Pep for two more seasons, though I think most believe he will extend, another season of relying on Clichy and Willy, or even the likes of Yaya, is shooting ourselves in the foot.

We've got about half of a potentially world class side right now, if the club ever intend to finish the job then the time is now.

While we've got you, what do you think about talk in MD (picked up by other media, somewhat backed up by Sammy_Goal and alluded to by tolm) of City working on a potentially world record breaking signing right now?

That's fine, getting rid of a few players who are so poor & used so infrequently that it makes no difference. But if we dump Yaya for instance, then find we can't actually get a world class midfielder to replace him, we are then less likely to win anything next season, than we are now. When you consider that we have Gundogan back & a full season of Sane, Jesus a year older, we are already stronger.

Take out Yaya & the new signing isn't what we hoped, Gundogan gets injured, & f suddenly it's a different story altogether.

There's a similar argument with Zabba, assuming Sagna is gone.
