The 24th Bond film called 'Spectre' is about to go into production, is this one Bond film too far?
Is it just me or are Bond films not as good since the days of Sean Connery?
Having said this 'Skyfall' the last one took a Billion at the box office and was nominated for various awards so what do I know

All Bond films are great apart from the Roger Moore ones after (and including) Octopussy and that crap Sean Connery one he did at the end.

Last one was superb.

They do a great job of mirroring the times, with Moore's doing that in the worse way!

The recent switch from Brosnan to Craig was a master stroke, as it allowed them to go back to the future and reinvent Bond into a 21st century player.

While I agree that the Bourne series has provided a grittier, more realistic depiction of the genre, Bond is the archetypal British Security Services playboy.

Love the reworking, and thought Skyfall was exceptional.

Casino Royal (The Craig version, obviously) and any starring Timothy Dalton are great. Goldeneye was decent, despite Brosnan. The rest are closer to Austin Powers.

Skyfall - $1.1b at the box office suggests that one at least was 'all that

If they weren't making money they wouldn't make them, Simple as that.

The most recent ones with Craig are very good, most of the others I can do without, the earky ones are crap..!

I like them, the last one especially was superb.

They're better than majority of the action films that are released nowadays, so no complaints from me.
