Still an extra body in the squad and will put uneccessary strain on the team if we didn't buy cover provided we did move Kalvin Phillips on in January.

Assuming that he doesn't improve on what we've seen of him so far in a City shirt, I doubt very much that there'd be any difference if he wasn't replaced at all.

He is a decent Premier League player and the fact Bayern were sniffing around him shows he is still a useful player to have in the squad.

I disagree about Rodwell. Thought he was a very good player and if he stayed injury free would’ve been a constant starter for club and country but injuries and his mentality towards getting injured ultimately paid the price. He could play in a number of positions too

I said similar, last season, that he plays like possible injury is on his mind.

He had a shit ton at Leeds, so not surprised, really.
