I don't think his pain threshold was the main issue, he clearly had a serious unrelated issue that was dealt with well, by both the Steau defender, and the various medical people.

Its great its turned out to be nothing alarming in the end.
Yes good point about the Steau number 3 he was excellent in terms of getting Kelechi urgent attention

Looked like a calf injury. - And he fell awkwardly and looked like he nearly swallowed his tongue he certainly looked like he had bitten it judging by his subsequent body language..
Glad to know it was only cramp. Pretty serious cramp mind - the sort that long distance athletes occasionally get.
He put in a hell of a shift during the game so the nutritionalists need to make sure he has the right sodium and other electrolyte levels going forward.

Better give them a call.

Goal nr 3 in 5 games for Kelechi Iheanacho.

Scores a peach of a goal for Nigeria. Really whacked it with his left from outside the area.

He and Mikel were Nigeria's best players.

This lad is gonna have a big season, hope he plays next week and plays a blinder along with the other ten city players..

African Cup of Nations qualifier. Dead rubber, so sort of official, but all in all a dress rehearsal for World Cup qualifying.

He'll come on after 70 mins and make it 5-1 then 6-1. And he'll be gracious about it.
