Marv watching from CBL3 you could tell from his movement every time he kicked the ball after the initial tackle ,that the bloke was in severe discomfort.If we can see it from the gods,why can`t the management from a few feet away.Crazy,it really was.

Huge blow,but there's no guarantee the same thing wouldn't have happened on Sunday if he was rested today. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I think as a club we now need to start planning for the fact that Kompany's injuries mean he is longer our main centre half.
