The people are starving the Military/leaders of the country seam hell bent on attacking someone,i wonder who ????????
I 'm confused - is that us or North Korea?
Fookin good point,i cringe at the way we jump in with both feet everytime it kicks off somewhere.
Sometimes i feel like we should let france/italy etc take the centre stage for once.

We, as a nation, have been punching above our weight internationally for 60 years now.
We can't even honour our obligations to sorting out Afganistan. We embarrassed ourselves militarily in front of the yanks in Basra (not by the courage and skill of our men, but by lack of numbers and equipment etc), how are we gonna kick off on N. Korea?
But there is no way we can allow the likes of France to take centre stage in world politics, that has been our foreign policy for hundreds of years!!!!!!! FACT!

Meanwhile, soldiers with horrific battlefield injuries are treated on NHS wards because the Government closed specialist military hospitals to save money.
And troops have been forced to buy their own items of kit such as sleeping bags, boots and rucksacks because they felt the Army issue was inadequate.
The letting france take centre stage was tongue in cheek mate.
As for the politicians i'd sack every last fuckin one of them & have the best people in place for each specific job.............then do the same with councils.

And so was my reply on our foreign policy, I got the sense of your tongue in cheek when you included Italy. Berlusconi sorting out N Korea? He would comment on their tans, tell them all to live in tents and shag all their (allegedly) underaged women.

Platini & Blatter would be my picks to head the delegation to go to Korea, with the mandate to bully them into stopping the missile tests.
