Pretty random.. but I'd recommend '13 sins' 'Dead End' 2003, and 'Tucker and Dale vs Evil' .. they're all fun to watch without being mega gory/scary.

"Suspiria"
"Jack's Back" ( a real lost gem with James Spader trying to catch a copycat Jack the Ripper" in 80s LA.
"In the Mouth of Madness" (underlooked John Carpenter film.
