A good win but with Xmas coming up and Richards injured zab should have been nowhere near that pitch.

Just back and never saw Zabaleta's injury. Did the trainer even come on. First most people knew was Boyata suddenly coming on!

Was hoping he had perhaps just felt ill but alas not. Did he manage to walk off after feeling a niggle or is it a bad one.

Really frustrating.

Great singing tonight.

I have just got back and Zabba pulled up just after a throw in and limped along the line to the trainers so there was no need for them to come on, but we were playing with 10 men for quite a few minutes while Boyata warmed up because of it being so early in the game.

Great atmosphere and the Leicester stewards were friendly and unintrusive. Two of them said to me after the game, I was on the front row by the corner flag, how great our fans were. One said 'I wish we had fans like yours every week, friendly and cheerful without any agro'. Thought that was really good of him, he had no need to say it, he shook my hand and said he hopes we win it for our fans.

He fancied you.

Almost young enough to be my grandson de niro, but thank you for even implying I am still fanciable!! Before the match he was telling me all about his daughter and her birthday party!! :-)

Rodwell not good enough? Even though last year when played he was excellent and this is his first game (full game) back in a while. He showed great drive and kept the tempo high and got into scoring positions (unfortunately he missed a few chances but again he hasn't played for a while)
You have to seriously wonder what some fans are actually looking at. Rodwell is more than 'good enough'.

What was the deal with only 6 subs last night, can't say I've seen or heard any explanation?
Rodwell has been great when he's been fit, as anyone with two eyes could tell. remember Chelsea last year? Jovetic was ill (or maybe not completely ready) and Lopes pulled up with a niggle in the warm up, think that's what the delay announcing the subs was, they were assessing him.
Rodwell is an excellent player. If he can stay fit he'd be well ahead of García for the replacement DM.

last night crowd

I really enjoyed last night, city fans really getting behind the team, singing nearly all game, 3 highlights

1] when the Leicester fans started to bounce up and down when they scored, we showed them what bouncing up and down is like with the Poznan

2] when the lass who won x factor came on and sang, we give her a good clap then others sang get ur t--s out for the lads, poor lass

3] sami giving his shirt to a young fan at the end of the game and we started to sing his song

He said he'd seen the Fernandinho song and was asking for other videos... unless I misread what he meant.

It was a great night and a really nice touch from Nasri. That kid was pleased as punch.

Did the job thoughr we played well first half but dsropped off in the second.

We still seem to give teams a chance and Leicester had a go after their goal. MP needs to start learning to shut up shop and just close games out.

Where was Jovetic?

Finally Rodwell aint no where near good enough and even Javi offers more than him - sooner he goes the better
