A good win but with Xmas coming up and Richards injured zab should have been nowhere near that pitch.

I have just got back and Zabba pulled up just after a throw in and limped along the line to the trainers so there was no need for them to come on, but we were playing with 10 men for quite a few minutes while Boyata warmed up because of it being so early in the game.

Great atmosphere and the Leicester stewards were friendly and unintrusive. Two of them said to me after the game, I was on the front row by the corner flag, how great our fans were. One said 'I wish we had fans like yours every week, friendly and cheerful without any agro'. Thought that was really good of him, he had no need to say it, he shook my hand and said he hopes we win it for our fans.

He fancied you.

Almost young enough to be my grandson de niro, but thank you for even implying I am still fanciable!! Before the match he was telling me all about his daughter and her birthday party!! :-)

Still a looker you are Sheila. If you were a redhead :)

That's a ridiculously sexy free kick. One of the best I've seen this year.

From where I was stood that free kick was incredible.

It arrowed straight into the 'angle' of bar and post and couldn't have been any more accurate.

Kolarov had a really confident game and imo is our 2nd most improved player after Nasri.

-- Thu Dec 19, 2013 10:11 am --

This all looks very good but it wasn't really.

Has anyone (who saw the whole match) pointed out how poor Kompany and Lescott were or are they immune from criticism normally reserved for Demichelis?

Not sure whether Komps gave the ball away 12 or 15 times, each of which could've led to a goal in the PL.

I'll hope it was just carelessness.

You sure it wasn't 11 or 16 times?

I wanted to start a new thread but basically didn't know how to. Anyway Leicester fan in peace.

I was at the game on Tuesday night and you could see the extra quality that you have in your side. All your players gave us respect and none of them played like it was going to be an easy game. First half we was completely awful and you just dominated us. Second half I thought we was a lot better and gave you more of a game. If we played how we did in the second half from the start we may have caused you a problem. But I must say James Milner gets a lot of stick especially when playing for England. But last night shown me and other Leicester fans why he is a quality player. Vincent Kompany is an outstanding leader and what a free kick by Kolarov, No stopping that. Dzeko also showing the difference between the premier league and the championship. If we was to ever make the Premier League we would need to spend quite a bit.

As for you support, Fantastic. Best I've seen down the KP for a long time. Biggest away following we've seen in years and every single one of you stood and sung just like how away days should be. Your songs are unique and just quite simply amazing. Especially the Fernandihio?, Kompany, Zabaleta, Nasri and Yaya chant. (But I think every team loves the Yaya Toure chant) Also your Poznan looked quality too and made ours look embarrassing. I hate to say it but I wish we could take some of your chants for players and sing them how you do but use them for our players.

Anyway good luck for the season and I hope you lot win the Cup and finish higher than the red side of Manchester.

Thank you for that LCFC FOX, a great ambassador for your club. And gracious even in defeat. Takes a brave person to come on here (or any other fans forum) so well done. I love your ground, it has a great atmosphere.
Good luck for the rest of the season, we will hopefully see you in the PL soon.

So do I, over 31,000 there which is a credit to Leicester, quite few Prem Clubs would struggle to get that attendance

Cheers,great post.

You can always adopt us as your '2nd' club;-)

Stick around mate.

A couple of quick points

1) Cheers LFC Fox, we enjoyed the game too. We will be backing you to get promoted

2) Did anyone else see Sammi at the end if the game? He walked across to a disabled person and a young kid, she (I think) must've been about 9 or10 and he called her to the edge and handed his shirt over, love it when players do that. It don't take much effort but means so much to the person

Thanks Leicester, thanks Sammi.

It was a he and it happened right in front of where I was sitting and the young lad next to me was so pleased for his friend it brought tears to my eyes. The disabled person and the lad had been over at half time talking to the lad next to me, they were obviously good friends. He was so chuffed when Sami came over and kept pulling at his Dad's arm telling him. The photographers then brought the lad over and had him holding the shirt up with Sami's name showing. It was heartwarming. Well done Samir.

Haha you can't support two teams but I must admit I do seem to want City to win the league more than the other big clubs. Maybe it's because 99% of your fans have always supported your team unlike your neighbours.

If a team is better than us I will tell them, if we are out sung I will tell them. As I would if the support was awful. It's just nice to see a set of fans always singing and standing. In the championship we don't normally see big followings apart from Leeds, Sheff Weds, Forest and Derby. But I would put you above all of them.

As for sticking around I may just do :)
