Leroy Sane - 2016/2017 performances

Another example that young players need time. Sane will continue to be inconsistent as hes only 20, but hopefully this will boost his confidence.

Which means he'll fluctuate from being shit to a world beater on here weekly.

Agree though, seemingly lacks confidence at the moment even if he breezes past people when he attempts it most of the time - hopefully this gives him the boost he needs to keep taking people on.

Congratulations on a good performance and a great goal. Takes brains to get that chance and composure to finish it. A goal and two assists so far in his City career is a pretty good turnaround if you ask me.

Was really chuffed for him. Great finish and is really good at running at defenders.
Needs to get a run of games and we could have quite a potent weapon in a couple of weeks

Getting better and better, started off sloppy but grew into it. Timed his runs great, nice finish and could have had a second.

Great goal and some fantastic touches from the lad.

Has pace to burn and is our future along with Raz.

I think this kid will be immense for us in the next few years. So technically gifted and he is great at timing runs, his problem at the moment is only psychological and this will improve

I thought he was poor in general first half but a much much better showing in the second. Hopefully that goal will do him the world of good.
