Has announced his retirement from football after a final season at Malaga. Congrats on a wonderful career including 3 trophies at God's own club Martin and stay out of the bookies!

Got a lot of shit from some blues. Most who dont have there own opinions and just repeat what the twats from soccer saturday say.

Hes was one of our best players in pellers 1st season. He was poor in his last but that was because his legs were gone.

He's also the best defender ive ever seen at playing the offside trap. Should never have cut his ponytail off.

I have to say he was shocking when he first joined us and was culpable for some major cock ups Barca and Wigan spring to mind. However the hull game was where it really turned around for him. Down to ten men he took the defensive unit by the scruff of the neck and really stepped up from there. Well worthy of his title winning medal in my opinion.

Had a slow start but picked up after the first few months and had a solid 18 month period for us.

His legs completely went over the summer before his final season.

For a man who was constantly critisized by the media he has had quite the career, and trophy haul.

Loved that man's offside trap, watching what was essentially a middle aged bloke who could barely run outsmarting Premier League strikers over and over again.

Of course the problem was if he made the slightest mistake, he never had the pace to recover and playing in a pretty exposed defence he was constantly having to take risks with his decision making, sometimes got it wrong.
