We are all talking about J T and J L and maybe Toure as a CB ..but what about Mattew Upson who has not been mentioned for along time and was on MH list of players toi sign. He had an outstanding period last season and could be bought for maybe 12 to 15 million .....Your views would be appreicated.

given the choice of Upson or Lescott I would have to go for Lescott,mainly as he is 4 years younger. having said that, if we were to sign Upson then he would definatly improve the squad and the first team, and would make us more solid at the back!

Upsons a good player, prefer Hangeland though.

i agree this guy very underrated wouldnt be a bad option id much rather have upson for a more reasonable price rather than get our arse spanked on the lescott deal especially if the rumours flyin around are true abt offering nedum , id be a sneeky bid in for him definately
