i agree this guy very underrated wouldnt be a bad option id much rather have upson for a more reasonable price rather than get our arse spanked on the lescott deal especially if the rumours flyin around are true abt offering nedum , id be a sneeky bid in for him definately

The rumours about Nedum are not true and Lescott is a better player than Upson. That is all you should be concerned about. The money we pay is completely irrelevant.

given the choice of Upson or Lescott I would have to go for Lescott,mainly as he is 4 years younger. having said that, if we were to sign Upson then he would definatly improve the squad and the first team, and would make us more solid at the back!
