strange question, but on motd, do the commentators watch the games love, or do they just commentate the highlights?

Mm, not such a strange question. I've thought for some time they way their comments 'lead into' or set up certain incidents in matches must be more than co-incidental. Certainly completely different from the commentary you hear on a full live game on say itv European coverage.

The "expert" pundits spend all afternoon watching a bank of monitors to look across all games, but the actual match commentaries do sound added afterwards, although they may well be at the ground

Lineker swears all the games are commentated live at the stadiums.

i think they already said on twitter that they are at the games.

They are at the games. They always go to speak to the commentators on Football Focus before the games and they are always at the grounds.

If Saturday night wasn't enough with the short version of City and W Ham with hardly a decent word from any so called pro's I was watching mot2 on Sun afto when I realised they were leaving us to the last as norm and then the bloody sound went off typical of bbc why are they so biased against us. About time they got some decent football unbiased pundits on that so called sports prog:

I don't think the sound going off was deliberately intended for when they were talking about us.

And as we were the last game played at that time, maybe it was natural that we were the last match talked about.

So someone at the bbc decided that, as we'd won, they'd cut the sound off during the broadcast on purpose?

I've just watched MOTD for the second time, and this time I paid attention to the pundits, and they absolutely gushed about how well we played.

When I was watching it last night I did say, ''Is that it?!'' Then I remember that they hate us and it wasn't a suprise then. I like Goals on Sunday more because they're not that bias towards any team really.

Part of the problem was that our game wasn't that exciting from a neutral point of view. First half we were much better than they were and the game lacked any drama. Even when they pulled one back I never really had an "oh no here we go again feeling". Just comfortable superiority doesn't make for much of a thrill other than drooling over the quality and to be fair, they'd already covered Arsenal doing the same thing that we were doing. I'm very glad we aren't playing them until December - time to go off the boil a bit hopefully. Beyond Fat Sam's fair analysis (who'd have thought..?) there wasn't a lot more to say.

Why would anyone want this. Surely you would want us to beat an Arsenal side at the top of their game, so
we can prove to one and all, that we are the best side in the league.
